On the effectiveness of developer features in code smell prioritization: A replication study

Abstract: Highlights•We replicated a recent developer-driven code smell prioritization paper using new experimental settings.•We found using only code quality metrics is sufficient for prioritizing the 3 change-insensitive smells.•In line with model performance, we revealed developers tend to prioritize code smells based on code quality.
