Blind recognition of punctured convolutional codes

Abstract: This paper presents an algorithm for blind recognition of punctured convolutional codes with application for instance in adaptive systems. Minimal basic encoding matrices of the original convolutional codes and their puncturing patterns are determined according to the accounted parity check matrices of the punctured convolutional codes.
