Abstract: The prevalence and gravity of data-related issuesfacing modern businesses have propelled the field of businessintelligence and analytics (BI&A) to the forefront of academicand professional discourse. A paradigm change is occurring inthe way businesses make decisions and prepare for the future,and this paper explores AI and data analytics are changing theface of BI. An aim of the study was to look at BI from everyangle, particularly how it has changed with the addition of AIand sophisticated data analytics, and to see where thesetechnologies are headed in the corporate world. The combineduse of BI, AI, and BDA in SaaS products is the topic of thisreview. It describes big data analytics, lists its essentialelements, and talks about how it relates to business intelligence.The review examines AI trends in BI, examines successfulsector-specific applications, suggests a Big Data AnalyticsService-Oriented Architecture (BASOA), and examines SaaSadoption in BI. Further research areas encompass the AIframeworks, optimising the scalability and performance ofbusiness intelligence applications built on SaaS platforms.
