Abstract: The Extended Q-range Small-Angle Neutron Scattering (EQ-SANS) instrument at the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS), Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), has enabled investigations of nanoscale structures across diverse scientific disciplines. This review highlights key research advancements using EQ-SANS, spanning polymer science, biological and biomimetic systems, nanomaterials and colloids, energy materials, and environmental applications. We also discuss methodological developments and data analysis, including the integration of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Leveraging its unique capabilities, EQ-SANS has provided unprecedented insights into complex material behaviors, advancing both fundamental science and technological innovation.
