Object Carousel Simulator for Broadcast Applications

Abstract: This paper describes an object carousel simulator developed for the testing of broadcast applications. It gives a short overview of the specific characteristics of a broadcast environment and describes tools developed to simulate them. Results and experiences from using a sample application, originally developed for end-user trials in the ACTS project IMMP, in the simulated broadcast environment conclude the paper.
