Abstract: The IoT is designing to have unlimited applications for example is IoT system for controlling things in a room. Service-modeling is key both for viewpoint and just for detailed model. The Service Oriented Architecture Modelling Language (SoaML) is utilized to clarify the architecture including the roles and interactions between service participants. In this paper, we investigate how SoaML can be used to represent model for the Smart Room based on Internet of Things (SaRIOT) system. The result of SaRIOT system model is discussed within this paper as presented in section IV. The proposed model may be used to generate software code which would enable to develop the system for the future work.
