Abstract: Highlights•A novel wavelet convolution magnification network (WCMN) for ME spotting in long videos is proposed.•A novel selective magnification attention module is proposed and constrained by Lguide and α-ReLU.•Our method verifies that motion magnification can facilitate ME spotting in long videos, which is neglected by previous methods.
