Abstract: Highlights•A novel LCAUnet is proposed, enhancing edge-body fusion for lesion segmentation.•LCAF module uses local cross-attention to improve spatial coherence and features.•PGMF employs multi-scale fusion to enhance consistency and accuracy across scales.•Experiments show LCAUnet outperforms others on publicly available datasets.
