Abstract: One of the key food supply factors is a collective effort to produce, maintain, and consume homegrown vegetables. However, like any home plant or a food source, an organism may suffer from disease-related problems and lack of maintenance, e.g., being away for holidays. Therefore we design a system to maintain stable micro-climate parameters around the plant and to obtain its health information using Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) imaging and a mobile app for remote monitoring. We have created and evaluated an Artificial intelligence (AI) model for an autonomous indoor drone to detect and inspect plants which does not require a predefined layout within the household.
