Abstract: Highlights•Novel 3-stream compact Xception framework to detect face PAs.•Two specific 3-stream input fusion CRF and CPF provide discerning texture features.•A concise deep learning framework offers refined features for PAs classification.•The model mitigates 2D and 3D attacks and is robust against illumination settings.•We outperform several state-of-the-art methods on publicly available datasets.
