Abstract: This dataset provides a structured transcription and geospatial mapping of the Sommarioni registers compiled in Venice in 1808 as part of the Napoleonic cadastre. The dataset combines cadastral information—parcel numbers, owners, and usage—with georeferenced vector geometries based on the 27 original cadastral plates. It includes person-level disambiguation and institutional standardization, enabling spatial, social, and historical analyses. Transcribed and verified through a combination of semi-automated tools and manual checks, the dataset serves as a foundational resource for understanding the urban fabric of Venice before major modern transformations.
