Abstract: We define belief revision operators based on sequences of messages which give some information together with the source of this information. The main idea is to evaluate the reliability of the sources of messages using internal mechanisms. Messages having higher reliability will have higher priority. Thus, we re-order the messages following the degree of reliability of the sources and then we apply iterated revision to this reconfigured sequence of messages. We propose methods for computing reliability and study their properties. Finally, we analyze the behavior of these reconfiguration operators with respect to some iterated revision postulates.
