Abstract: Hopefully, everybody enjoyed their summer, and now we shift into fall, where we are back to classes and have a number of upcoming IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS)-sponsored conferences. The first Intelligent Vehicles Symposium (IV2022) back in person took place in Aachen, Germany. Between the targeted preconference workshops and the full day of vehicle demos to close the meeting, there were more than 400 onsite and 125 virtual registrations.
