Abstract: Highlights•The UQpy software for uncertainty quantification in Python is presented.•UQpy is comprised of several modules for forward and inverse UQ in computational modeling.•At the core, the RunModel module serves as a driver for computational modeling with uncertainty.•It is demonstrated how UQpy can be used for advanced UQ using the state-of-the-art methods.•UQpy serves as a novel development environment for UQ research.
