Abstract: Highlights•An end-to-end semi-supervised multi-task learning network, SML-Net is proposed.•It can simultaneously perform plaque segmentation and classification.•It extracts critical information from both plaque and background regions.•Localize features at different scales and integrate them to enhance feature fusion.•Extract features from different dimensions of feature maps.
