Abstract: Highlights•We introduce a new multi-scale convolutional neural network (MS_CNN) for target image detection based on EEG signals.•Our network preserves the original spatial feature distribution by directly using three-dimensional data as input.•We improve feature learning for minority classes by using fine-tuning ensemble methods with dynamic class weights.
