Research on Key Intelligent System in Unmanned Surface Vessel

Abstract: With the rapid development of automated control and mobile communication technologies, unmanned ship technology is a derivative product of robotics. This paper aims to study the key technologies of intelligent and autonomous design of unmanned surface vessel (USV). Starting from the analysis of the development history and current situation of USV at home and abroad, the intelligent technologies are discussed, including environmental perception technology based on multi-sensors, control technology for route generation and path planning, autonomous obstacle avoidance technology based on intelligent control, positioning technology of underactuated USV, and wireless communication technology based on modern communication system. Through the research and summary of the intelligent system of unmanned ship, it can be concluded that the unmanned ship technology, which integrates the control and automation system, communication and network system, positioning system and other intelligent systems, will develop to high intelligence, standardization, high stability and serialization in the future. Consistent with cross-domain expectations, not only the integration of multiple technologies on unmanned ship platforms, but also the cooperation and integration of multiple new and traditional technologies should be developed in the process of seeking intelligence.
