Abstract: The IEEE NANO-CRHES 2024 summer school focused on integrating nanotechnology across computing, robotics, healthcare, and environmental sustainability (CRHES) sectors. The program combined expert lectures, workshops, and design thinking approaches to address real-world challenges aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Participants from academic and industry backgrounds collaborated on projects spanning theoretical concepts and practical applications. Program outcomes included enhanced participant knowledge, new research collaborations, and solutions targeting global sustainability challenges. Activities encompassed technical sessions, outreach programs for school children, and industrial visits to semiconductor facilities. Participants reported improved understanding of nanotechnology applications and increased motivation to implement solutions in their respective fields. The initiative established research partnerships and introduced IEEE standards frameworks relevant to nanotechnology development. Additional components included workforce development activities and policy recommendations for sustainable technology implementation. This analysis examines program effectiveness and proposes directions for future interdisciplinary nanotechnology education initiatives.
