Abstract: Alexa is an intelligent personal assistant developed by Amazon, that can provide many services through voice interaction such as music playback, news, question-answering, and on-line shopping. The Alexa shopping research team in Amazon is a new emerging group of scientists who investigate revolutionary shopping experience through Alexa, while devising new search paradigms beyond traditional catalog search.
