An electromechanics-driven fluid dynamics model for the simulation of the whole human heart

Abstract: Highlights•We propose a whole heart hemodynamics model driven by electromechanics.•The 3D CFD model is fully-coupled to external closed-loop circulation.•We calibrate the active force model to get biomarkers in the physiological ranges.•Our model faithfully captures physiological flow patterns and biomarkers.•Our model reliably describes the hemodynamic effects of an electrical disfunction.
