Abstract: Highlights•A method for time-resolved measures of cross-frequency phase-amplitude coupling between neural oscillations is introduced.•The tPAC method applies both to event-related and ongoing neural activity.•Evaluation on electrophysiology recordings demonstrate time-resolved changes in phase-amplitude coupling related to behavior.
