A Study on the Feature-level Perception Sharing of Autonomous Vehicles

Abstract: Recently, remarkable progress has been made in autonomous driving. However, there are still many things to do for fully autonomous driving. One of them is perception sharing, which utilizes vehicular communication to maximize the cognitive ability of the vehicle. In this paper, we identify recent research trends by surveying studies on perception sharing. Moreover, we introduce papers dealing with more practical scenarios and present the future works given to perception sharing.
