Abstract: This paper proposes a method of detecting blood clots by analyzing the chromatic properties of blood. Measurements are performed with a Basler camera on blood during coagulation to determine the changes in red, green, and blue (RGB) values. Results show that there is a significant change in the red value that can be exploited for real-time, early detection of blood clots.
