Abstract: Highlights•This paper proposes a novel scheduling algorithm for a smart manufacturing factory.•We formulate a new scheduling problem, named Weakly Flexible Job-shop Scheduling.•We propose three scheduling algorithms specially designed for targeting WFJSP.•We demonstrate the efficiency of our algorithms via real-world manufacturing data.
