Cross-scanner and cross-protocol diffusion MRI data harmonisation: A benchmark database and evaluation of algorithms

Abstract: Highlights•A benchmarking database for diffusion MRI data harmonisation is presented.•The same 14 healthy controls were scanned on 3 scanners with 5 acquisition protocols.•5 harmonisation algorithms are compared for two tasks.•1) matched resolution scanner-to-scanner mapping, 2) spatial and angular resolution enhancement.•Cross-scanner harmonisation can reduce the variability between scanners and protocols.
