A High-Speed Stereo Monitoring System for Remote One-Man Operation

Abstract: This paper proposes a high-speed stereo monitoring system that supports remote monitoring and can be operated by a single operator. The proposed system leverages three-dimensional data from two cameras to focus rapidly on a target. This remote monitoring system was designed to facilitate multiview remote monitoring with reduced manpower. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system successfully leverages camera lines of sight for rapid searching, demonstrating its applicability to multiview surveillance.
