Abstract: Highlights•Dual quality (DQ) concerns competition authorities, but detection tools are lacking.•As an indicator of DQ, detecting DQ mentions (DQMs) in consumer opinions is proposed.•We annotate DQM datasets in 3 languages and train high-performing DQM detectors.•We show that detecting DQMs can effectively support the detection of DQ practices.
