Abstract: Highlights•We propose a strategy-level method integrating a dual-system mechanism encompassing commonsense reasoning and sentiment perception.•We integrate a human cognitive modeling method based on dual-system theory to enhance implicit sentiment recognition in the ASQP task.•Experiments demonstrate DuSR2’s state-of-the-art performance advancement on four datasets.•We evaluate the method’s robustness and transferability across different backbones and generation templates.
