Collaborative Browsing and Search in Video Archives with Mobile Clients

Abstract: A system for collaborative browsing and search within video archives is proposed. It comprises of mobile clients and a back-end server. The server is responsible for inter-client communication as well as for archive partitioning according to the active client’s population. The participating clients employ a GUI designed and optimized for Nexus 7 tablets.
