Abstract: Highlights•We propose a rankability-based weighting method overcoming contradictions in decision.•This method creates aggregated weights reducing the dimensionality of evaluation data.•The proposed method is based on spectral analysis of the Laplacian matrix.•We propose an MCDM model based on proposed method and the Dempster–Shafer theory.•The proposed model is verified on actual data.
