Abstract: Highlights•A Boundary-Guided Feature Enhancement Network (BGFE-Net) is proposed.•BGFE-Net utilizes a BGFE module to improve the fusion of target and boundary features.•Boundaries generated with SAM are employed for boundary-based data augmentation.•Extensive experiments show BGFE-Net can effectively handle fuzzy boundaries.
