Abstract: Highlights•We integrate domain knowledge from HSI with deep learning techniques.•We have developed a spectral grouping with a hybrid convolution network (BGSR) for HSI SR.•We propose an HSI SR pruning network with attention mechanisms for global optimization.•Our BGSR consistently delivers comparable outcomes across various scenarios, even with constrained computational resources.
