Generalized FFDIAG algorithm for non-Hermitian joint matrix diagonalization

Abstract: Highlights•Extending the FFDiag algorithm from the Hermitian case to non-Hermitian matrices.•The non-unitary and unitary diagonalization issues were both addressed effectively.•These versatile algorithms can handle square and rectangular matrices.•Algorithms have also been validated using simulations and real-world data.•The proposed algorithms outperform existing ones in terms of efficiency and accuracy.
