An ensemble framework with improved hybrid breeding optimization-based feature selection for intrusion detection

Abstract: Highlights•A novel ensemble framework for feature selection is proposed, which has employed in IDS.•The ensemble approach uses elite portfolio combination strategy and cooperative co-evolution-based method.•An optimal combination of feature selection methods with classifiers has applied to different domains.•Comparison with existing techniques show superiority of our ensemble.
