Pred-ID: Future event prediction based on event type schema mining by graph induction and deduction

Abstract: Highlights•Schema Inductive: At each time step, we induce the core event development from the entire instance event graph, to generate an event-type schema.•Schema Deductive: The event deductive connects induced events to probable types from the event library. The connections between the already-existed events and newly added ones will be directed in temporal order and obey the distribution of the induced event graph.•Graph Fusion: The fused schema and instance graph guide future event prediction by aligning critical contexts, iteratively updating the instance graph with predicted events.
