Abstract: It is shown that when Ankan's n-level polarization transformation is applied to the binary erasure channel, each of the resulting individual 2 <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">n</sup> subchannels has a sharp threshold, for sufficiently large n.
