Designing Learning Tasks and Scenarios on Digital History for a Research Lab for Pupils - Trends, First Implications and Perspectives

Abstract: Digital literacy and technologies are becoming increasingly important not only in university teaching but also in lifelong learning [1, 2]. Currently, most teaching activities in digital humanities aim at university students [3] or vocational education. The article highlights (1) current trends concerning digital humanities education on EU level, (2) analyses digital history activities in Germany which so far mainly takes place within prototypic academic projects, (3) highlight practice driven implications and (4) present how we integrate this in the lab design in Jena.
