Keywords: Phase retrieval
Abstract: The classical phase retrieval problem was originally formulated in an infinite dimensional setting, where one wishes to recover information on a signal from magnitude measurements of the Fourier transform. However, until recently, global stability of the phase retrieval problem was believed to be impossible in infinite dimensions. I will discuss recent work showing that this is not the case, and in fact there is a rich class of infinite dimensional subspaces doing stable phase retrieval.
