Abstract: Highlights•We introduce an on-manifold adversarial augmentation to improve generalization.•We theoretically prove that on-manifold augmentation improves OOD generalization.•We implement augmentation in the frequency domain to improve efficiency.•Experiments show the effectiveness of our method to improve OOD generalization.
