Abstract: There were 68,140 bicycle accidents in 2022 in Japan, and these accidents resulted in 312 fatalities and serious injuries of pedestrian and bicycle accidents in Japan in 2022. In this study, we propose a bicycle-based collision prevention system using an iPhone with LiDAR. We experimented in real-time while riding a bicycle and confirmed that the proposed system issued appropriate warnings in real-time and that the warning accuracy was 100%.
