Report on the Second Workshop on Simulations for Information Access (Sim4IA 2025) at SIGIR 2025

Abstract: This paper is a report of the Workshop on Simulations for Information Access (Sim4IA) workshop at SIGIR 2025. We present the outcome of the keynote and panel discussion, the four invited tech talks, as well as the shared task overview and participants' presentations, along with the corresponding breakout discussions. We report on how we organized the workshop, provide a brief overview of what happened at the workshop, and summarize the main topics and findings of the workshop, as well as future work.
