Why Combining Belief Functions on Quantum Circuits?

Abstract: This paper aims to provide a unified Boolean algebra-based combination rule for belief functions and implement it on quantum circuits. From the perspective of operating steps, the advantages of combination rules for poss-transferable mass functions and general mass functions in quantum implementation are discussed. Through quantum implementation, the poss-transferable mass function can achieve constant-fold acceleration, while the general mass function can achieve exponential-fold acceleration.
