Abstract: The survival of IPF patients varies considerably. Some are stable for a long time, some progress slowly, and some exacerbate acutely, leading to short-term death . A widely accepted method of assessing disease severity and estimating prognosis remains absent. In this work, we set up a new comprehensive framework for evaluating the severity of pulmonary fibrosis based on deep CT image data assessment with an attention-based deep model.
