Abstract: Highlights•Investigate the functional coupling difference of the strokes during the dynamic progress by wavelet coherence.•Provide physiological indexes about the weakened coupling caused by stroke-induced damage.•The integration window size in the wavelet coherence is adapted with frequency and applied in time-frequency analysis.
