Multi agent systems for circuit tolerance and sensitivity analysis

Abstract: In this work we investigate the applicability of the multi agent paradigm to the realization of a distributed software system for circuit Tolerance and Sensitivity Analysis (TSA). A Multi Agent System (MAS) is specifically structured to handle the interactions among several dedicated software tools, each designed for the application of a given method of TSA. The typical application of the MAS proposed in this paper is in the field of circuit TSA. The examples presented confirm the potentiality of the MAS approach in numerical computations as well as in testing and evaluation of methods of analysis.
