Abstract: In this paper, we present an analysis of the compression performance of Truncated Signed Distance Field (TSDF) [1] volume-based mesh property (texture map) for multi-view images with various tools off test in VVC [2], which have recently been standardized. We compare the tool performance for JVET sequences and analyzes how the properties of texture maps differ from normal video. In addition, we plan to perform VVC optimization for texture maps based on these experiments.
