Abstract: In recent years, many countries are actively deploying Low-Earth-Orbit (LEO) communication satellite constellations, which have the advantages of both high power flux density (PFD) on the surface of the earth and large signal bandwidth. From the perspective of radar application, these new LEO constellations are very suitable as opportunity of illuminator for target detection in passive radar systems. In this paper, the echo signal using LEO communication satellite is analyzed, and a moving target detection method is proposed.
