Breather, soliton-breather interaction and double-pole solutions of the fifth-order modified KdV equation

Abstract: In this letter, a large variety of solutions for the fifth-order modified Korteweg–de Vries equation is investigated by the N-soliton solution in bilinear form. The breather and double-pole solutions are derived from the two-soliton solution by different choices for two wavenumbers. Elastic interaction solutions of the breather–soliton and breather–breather are respectively constructed from the three- and four-soliton solutions.
