Remote patient monitoring and Electronic Health Record system based on web services

Abstract: Because of the increase in the number of people, medical problems increase and chronic diseases become more common. Medical data transfer between remote patients and health center can be provided by using information technology and telemedicine. In this study a system based web services is improved to monitor chronic patient with telemedicine. The system makes health personal offer Electronic Health Recording (EHR) consisting of biological signals and physiological parameters. This study with server-client construction consists of patient monitor software, web service and an interface allowing remote health personal to access web service.
