Accuracy Improvement of Background Noise Estimation in ELF Environment Electromagnetic Wave Using TPE-AE
Abstract: In this paper, the background noise estimation using outer product expansion is developed. We have shown that a possibility of blind source separation based on an outer product expansion with Lp norm minimization. The effectiveness of outer product expansions for artificial signals was represented in the conventional reports. The L1 norm minimization has a problem in the estimation performance. The outer product expansion with lower norms (0.1 ~ 0.9) showed a better estimation than L1 norm. However, the estimation stability might not be performed by using conventional method. We show that the estimation accuracy and stability for Lp norm minimization and its developed solution.
